They've arrived!
I ordered them last Monday (October 28, 2013) and they arrived just in time before the long weekend (Thursday, October 31, 2013)
Here's what I got online --- Messy Bessy household cleaning products plus an impulse buy (which I do not regret) Zen Organics Stay Alert Balm!
Ordering online saved me from having to lug these 2,000-mL bottles all the way from the supermarket to home. I think that the shipping fee charged by PhilPost is just right to offset what I'd spend on taxi and the extra hassle if I bought these straight from the supermarket. Add the fact that the stocks at Rustan's supermarket have been limited lately. If you want to try ordering online, please check out this link: http://www.philshopping.com/.
This Friday, I'm more inspired to clean up my little nook again. I swept and waxed the floor, did my laundry and cooked my cornish chicken (found out that this is a regular at Rustan's, yay!).
Hmmm, deja vu...I did almost exactly the same routine last weekend, right? Except for the general sweeping and floor waxing parts. These domesticated weekends, especially the mini "green cleaning" contributions I'm doing for Mother Earth, are definitely making me one happy camper.
At the end of my cleanup and cooking tasks, I lighted my "vacation candle" (Willow Lane Relax on Vacation scented soy wax blend candle from True Value), and enjoyed my cornish chicken (this time in an arroz caldo recipe using brown rice and brown egg). A big hurrah for long weekends like this. I repeat with a smile: I LOVE being domesticated, hehe ;)
Ciao for now dears. Till next weekend!
