Just remembered this poem from our elementary school principal, Ma'am Fiorella Espinosa...
She gave this to me after I gave her a "thank you" poem for being so supportive considering that I was under-aged and a transferee.
(Yeah, I wrote 'thank you' poems when I was younger; I miss that part of me :)
I hope that she's smiling down from Heaven if ever she gets to read this from there...
G-o oh wisp-of-a-girl
E-xplore the world unfurled
N-ew visions, thoughts, new dreams
E-ndless with new schemes
F-ill the earth with sunshine
E-ach day, God's grace be thine
L-ive, love and be your best.
Genefel, get ready for more conquests.
Surprisingly, I've memorized this by heart and took these with me wherever Life brought me.
"Live, love and be your best." I'll remember to do just that ma'am. Thanks so much again.
