OC Moments: Organizing the Beauty Arsenal

I am in an OC mood this Sunday.
I've done the organizing about two weeks ago but was able to take pictures and share this OC moment only this weekend.
Here are some snaps of how I organized my small beauty arsenal.
Not much products really since I vowed on a "Simple" resolution this 2013.
I believe that putting some order in this makeshift makeup case of mine helped cut my makeup minutes into half.
My Kamiseta mini-luggage has been serving as my makeup case for more than two years now.
I found this at Kamiseta SM Sta. Rosa while I was on OJT in 2010 and that was indeed love at first sight!

Before the efforts to organize, my makeup stash looked like this:
Beautiful disarray
This is an organized moment here.
I had to re-arrange it every now and then to put some semblance of order after the usual "rummaging" and "dumps-and-shoots" every morning.
How did I organize them? Please click 'Read more'.

And so...
I bought cheap trays from The Landmark and used these to group beauties together.
I also bought sifters (one of them shown below, left with small puff) to transfer some loose powder which were either in too-small packaging or were trapped in old bottles which showed breakage due to prolonged storage.
Tray #1 contains the lippies which I need to use up before I buy another one.
Tray #2 contains the cases for certain occasions: the blush powder for deeper blush, the experimental eye shadows, and the deep brown remainders of my TBS brow kit which I use to set the eye liner).
I use the white tray for the "frequently used items" --- the basic things that make up my morning routine.
Pick the ones you use everyday
In my case, these are my derma solution, moisturizer, cheek tint, brow kit, neutral eye shadows, no-metal hair bands, eyelash curler, brow comb, powder foundie, sunblock, loose powder, eye cream, mascara,  and concealer.
Everyday brushes
To keep my brushes from dust while I'm away, I keep them inside this blue bag.
Brushes safely stored inside and rolled away...The blue bag is actually the brassiere protector that comes with a Wacoal bra purchase.
Yup! I kept all of them --- pink, blue and lavender.
And now, this one is keeping my brushes dust-free.
Another use for these is to bring them for travel where you need to color-code wash-me and wear-me undies, e.g., blue for wash and pink for wear ;)
Happy to be OC =)
That's all for now my lovelies.
May this OC moment inspire you to organize the beautiful and bursting stash of lovely things you have.
Ciao!
