Warm Welcome: Karotine

Happy Chinese New Year to the Chinese community!
I pray for good fortune and more blessings to us all in the year of the wooden horse :)

As we usher in a brand new year, I warmly welcome a cute plush friend.
I got her after completing this sticker booklet from Rustan's supermarket.
I almost forgot about it until the very last day of redemption - January 30, 2014.
Fortunately, I was thoughtful enough to place the booklet inside my bag.
As I packed my stuff to end another work-week and welcome the long weekend, I spotted the sticker booklet and remembered.
This is actually a good thing, I thought to myself, as I half-rushed to Rustan's supermarket which was near closing time at past 9pm.
My thought bubble: "Since this is the last day of redemption, I will definitely be getting that ONE which everyone didn't want. Crossed fingers...Hang in there sweetie".
I have this soft spot for things and pets which everyone overlooked and/or didn't want.
Five of my eight dogs belong to this category. And I can proudly say that with love, you can bring out the best of the underrated, overlooked and unwanted (*tears*).

And here's to a warm welcome to the cutest carrot in the world !
Karotine :)
