Delectables: Don't Let the Blues Get to You

One Tuesday, I was blue and sick so I stayed home. I didn't let that get me down, though. I still wanted to be productive even on a sick day.

I decided to take the blues to the stove and fire them up :)

Chicken adobo: Pamora spring chicken (free range) with lots of chili pepper and black pepper, sitting on cabbage wraps and bay leaves over a mix of water, soy sauce and vinegar with a dash of salt and brown sugar
I usually save the tea bags after the drinks. This one's from the tea-in-a-tin-can that I got from HK.
The leg parts served with scrambled egg (I love mine beaten with mayonnaise and cheese)
The whole effort to put together a meal (and more to last for days) made me forget that I called in sick. The chicken tasted just right (sweet and salty) and the fluffy scrambled egg brought back good nostalgic moments (It's so fluffy I could die!).

Cheer up and stay healthy dears.
