Thank you Heavenly Father for the work.
Even though there are days that I feel exhausted and filled to the brim, I know that You are there to keep the passion and dedication burning.
Without You, I can do nothing.
There are mornings that I wake up with a weary body that I just wanted to stay curled up in my bed for hours. The alarms ring for the nth time and I know how long I need to get ready for work before I will be officially late for my "best start time of the day" (I believe that each of us has that particular hour when we have to hit the ground running to end up with a very productive day).
However, I do not let the physical weariness get over me. I continue to believe that I have one of the best jobs in the world and that I am blessed in more ways. With that in mind, I manage to overcome the weariness, get up from my cozy bed, bathe in the chance for another new day, put on my best face, and brace myself for the day's challenge.
Other than willpower and focus, what can best shield us from these harsh and tough work challenges?
Presentable yet comfy work wear, agree?
Except for the few (less than a dozen pieces) that I got over the past year, my work wear has remained simple and conservative. They have to be, given my nature of work. I learned one very important thing: Invest in quality pieces and they will last for years. It may seem expensive at first but when you see them endure the ups and downs of your career through long work hours with the same comfort and fit like they gave you on Day 1, aren't they indeed worth the investment?
Thank you Father for these pieces.
In big and small ways, they have made me feel blessed.

When the oil in the barrel is near empty, I go back to and find comfort in His words. These make me realize that I have more than I need. And yes, each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:28-34
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
