Pen Pals - Cold Sweet Break @ The Manila Pen

I will not eat ice cream for a long time! Hahahaha

Thanks to Boss Warren for treating us to this HUGE sweet thing! At the Peninsula Manila, no less.

If you are feeling the summer heat, gather at least six friends and bring them over to Peninsula Manila's The Lobby for a chilly sweet break of “Pen Pals”, a behemoth tub containing scoops and scoops of ice cream in various flavors and ROYGBIV colors (the menu says 19 scoops: we tasted sherbet, strawberry, mango, cheese, pistachio, and more). Toss in some marshmallows, fruits, crunch sticks and delicious whipped cream, and it shouts "SINFUL Delight"!

We had ours after lunch but we were told that this sweet giant tub is a hit for crazy ice cream addicts during the 3pm merienda. But with the just-as-crazy weather in Manila, who can blame us for feasting on this insanely brain-freezing dessert?
